ABOUT INTRA PROJECT CONSULTANTS
Intra Project Consultants (IPC) was founded by Mr. Sailen Avalani on 1st April 1994 as a proprietorship firm and was converted into a partnership firm on 15th April 1997.
IPC began its journey by supplying imported industrial instrumentation to customers across the power, steel, aluminium, cement, and process industries. In its early years, the company represented Brownell Ltd., UK, introducing dew point measurement solutions to several leading industrial customers in India.
A defining milestone in IPC's growth came in 2002, when it was appointed as the authorized distributor of Endress+Hauser, Germany, one of the world's leading manufacturers of process instrumentation. Over the past two decades, this partnership has been instrumental in IPC's growth, enabling the company to provide industry-leading solutions for flow, level, pressure, temperature, analytical, and digital instrumentation across a wide range of industries including oil & gas, chemicals, power, metals, water & wastewater, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and life sciences.
Over the years, the company has further expanded its portfolio by partnering with other globally renowned manufacturers, including Valmet Oy (Finland), Servomex (UK), Teledyne Analytical – Oldham (France), and Cashco Inc. (USA).
From a one-person enterprise, IPC has grown into a professionally managed organization with a team of more than 25 experienced professionals including a designated service team, operating from its own office on Lord Sinha Road, Kolkata. Today, with the next generation actively leading the business, IPC continues to build on its legacy by delivering world-class instrumentation solutions and creating long-term value for its customers.

Our Journey Since 1994
1994
Intra Project Consultants (IPC) was founded on 1st April 1994 by Mr. Sailen Avalani as a sole proprietorship. The company began by representing Brownell Ltd., UK, supplying imported industrial instrumentation to customers in India.
1997
On 15th April 1997, IPC was restructured as a partnership firm, laying the foundation for future growth. During this period, IPC also introduced Nova Analytical Systems gas analysers for hydrogen leak detection and hydrogen-cooled generator applications in Indian power plants.
2002
A defining milestone was achieved when IPC was appointed as the authorized distributor of Endress+Hauser. More than two decades later, Endress+Hauser continues to be our flagship principal and the cornerstone of our business.
2010
IPC further expanded its portfolio by adding process gas analysers, gas detection systems, and combustion instrumentation, enabling us to provide a broader range of process automation solutions.
2010–2026
Over the years, IPC evolved from an instrumentation supplier into a turnkey instrumentation solutions provider. Along with representing several globally renowned manufacturers, we now offer complete instrumentation packages, including engineering support, supervision, commissioning, and after-sales service, serving customers across power, metals, oil & gas, cement, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and other process industries throughout India.
